Artemide Tizio

Artemide Tizio
Today I want to take this opportunity and introduce one of my favorite lamps from Artemide: The Artemide Tizio.

Whenever I read something about the history of the Tizio, the designer Richard Sapper I'm a little sorry. It developed in the sixties with the Tizio one of the first halogen lamps at all.

If you look at this achievement from today's perspective, a milestone. Halogen lights would be faster and more enforced, which could not have been able to save on electricity ...

The Tizio much time was unfortunately completely by the professional audience and neither excellent nor particularly presented. Nevertheless, the Tizio but was a big success for Artemide lamp. The clientele was quickly made to the design and balance of light. To Enegriekosten they made at that time still less worried.

Today there is the original under the name Tizio Artemide Tizio 50, although there are now many other Tizios which are driven, inter alia, with LED Lights.

For me, the classic Tizio 50 remains the most beautiful of all.
