Tizio LED

Tizio LED
Declared my favorite light, the Tizio LED I've already devoted to one or another post.

Now there was a longer break and I dedicate myself to the right again Tizio, because there is something new to report.

The basic idea was to develop the Tizio known to have a light that illuminates the work surface is ideal and allows to focus on what is really important.

To chose Richard Sapper is a halogen bulb. In the seventies, a small revolution in energy use was at that time no one in-depth thoughts about light quality certainly nobody.

Sapper chose for the Tizio lamp nonetheless a halogen bulb, becoming a true pioneer.

Artemide could therefore easily rest on the laurels of the Tizio, the Tizio is 50 but in every major design museum in the world. But true innovation is reflected precisely in itself not just to rest, but always to strive for new innovations.

So it is not surprising that the findings from the Artemide My White Light research can also be integrated with seasoned classics as the Tizio.

Thus, the Tizio family received a new member of the Tizio LED.

It replaced the classic Artemide lamps with an LED lighting that consumes only 8 watts and still provides an output of 1200 lux.

The body of the Tizio course, remained untouched:

Still the light is held by counterweights in place, there is still no visible cables at the Tizio to see themselves, even the color of light has not changed, a feat that only Artemide lights accomplishes.
