Very nice Artemide lamp

At the weekend I came across a very beautiful lamp Verpan Fun.

Verpan is considered one of the most respected lighting manufacturers. Founder was Verner Panton, who not only enjoys a good reputation in Denmark. Panton managed getting a fusion of furniture and pop art, which meant that his designs rather than as a work of art seemed as furniture.

Among other things, the good but Verner has also designed lights, and just said Verpan Fun.



Has seen this light determined as well as anyone ever, in pretty much any hardware store hangs a corresponding lamp. The Verpan Fun is often referred to as Shell pendant, but she sits up of fine pearl tiles hanging in threads down and surrounded the bulb.

The hardware store - version I always liked unspectacular, since these plastic shells look very cheap lighting.

To once again to turn the corner, the original from Verpan is the exact opposite, as I was able to discover the weekend. The mussel slope looks very elegant and reflects the light very different from artificial plastic parts. Overall, the lamp looks very high quality. As I told the owner of the installation is a real puzzle. If you order the light somewhere she comes mounted half and you have to assemble it yourself, which is probably a real test of patience. I wonder now at serious risk of self-imposed Artemide - departing dogma and me just this zuzulegen Fun by Verpan. If only the assembly would not be ...
