Artemide Droplet - A drop springs

Artemide Droplet - A drop springs
The Artemide Droplet lamp series from the pen of designer Ross Lovegrove is a masterpiece of modern lighting designs. A large, round face seems to float, small droplets of aluminum house the bulb and illuminate the reflector screen. Droplet is Italian droplets, and that's what it was, what Lovegrove has inspired. The circular reflector disc seems to by their individual structure such as water, are born from the small drops. Thereby resulting in the water ripples are held perfectly in the Droplet by Artemide.

The Droplet by Artemide light is available in three different variants. The smallest of the three lights has a diameter of 60cm and from the center of the disc springs a straw that emits its light on the disc. The second ceiling light with a diameter of 110cm is already much more impressive. Arise from their midst three drops from various heights illuminate the disc. The third variant is designed as a pendant light, so that the disc is held by three thin ropes. So the fantastic effect of Artemide lamp Droplet come fully in higher areas to advantage. This pendant light has a diameter of 100cm and also three drops that give the light.

Lights are all in 2007 by Ross Lovegrove for Artemide and appeared as an idea of the description suggests, more. an art object than a simple lamp The droplet has managed in a very short time to be among the successful lamps from Artemide.
