The Artemide Droplet lamp series from the pen of designer Ross Lovegrove is a masterpiece of modern lighting designs. A large, round face seems to float, small droplets of aluminum house the bulb and illuminate the reflector screen. Droplet is Italian droplets, and that's what it was, what Lovegrove has inspired. The circular reflector disc seems to by their individual structure such as water, are born from the small drops. Thereby resulting in the water ripples are held perfectly in the Droplet by Artemide.
