Why LED’s are better Alternative?

Artemide Lamp Fixtures, Artemide Led Net, Artemide Cosmic
The latest lighting technology that revolutionized the lighting industry is the architectural Artemide Led Net. These are designed in the shape of branches spreading out in linear and circular fashion and have excellently replaced ubiquitous 60-watt incandescent light bulbs. The LED lights have claimed a great market.

LED lights were usually restricted by borders but with numerous stores online across the globe, the world will flaunt these lights and this will greatly reduce its total price. The lights are successfully replacing the standard and primitive bulbs. Per watt, the led illuminates roughly the same amount of light as the primitive bulbs but their added advantage is that they are completely dimmable and more durable.

Another revolutionary product is Artemide Cosmic that has achieved remarkable applauds for its design resembling a leaf. The Artemide Cosmic leaf has become so popular that it has been added to the collection of Art Institute of Chicago. These lights are used in retail stores or living area. It uses halogen and is slightly more efficient as compared to the primitive incandescent bulbs. The product is way to too small for allowing a fluorescent version.

The Lighting technology is boosting of these designer LED lights. The lights illuminate the place with whitish lights instead of the yellowish colour of the halogen bulb. The objects seem real in this whitish lights and it is so competent that even the 6-watt version can capably replace a 35-watt halogen light. LED lighting’s have gained tremendous appreciation.

Comparing the prices, this device would cost approx 44EUR – 2649EUR and last 25,000 hours i.e. ranges to around time span of more than three years with 24/7 service and thus this makes it a better deal since the  incandescent sells at 10EUR but works for only 2,000 hours.

In the field of directional lighting, the LED’s have excellently replaced compact fluorescents. Squeezing these compact fluorescents into small cones with reflectors have got them fix well into the “high hat” fixtures on various kinds of ceiling. But their efficiency seems lost when the light has to bounce around and face down in the room. LED’s are actually directional.

The technique adopted for reducing cost is that of fusing the lamp with the device. It also improves heat diffusion. LED’s are regularly undergoing development and will surely excel in replacing fluorescent tubes.
